hi friends! well, even though i promised to have updates on all of the european and (lately) texan/air force base adventures by now, it seems that unpacking three suitcases, two shipped boxes, one hiking backpack and the biggest "purse"/bodybag possible to bring as a carry-on has occupied me more than i anticipated. yes, unpacking and trying to figure out how i acquired so many tshirts and shoes. that, and spending time with wonderful midland friends (bidding farewell-- temporarily-- to clarey). and weeding the flowerbeds in the yard. and watching glorious ameican tv. and fainting twice at the doctor's office having blood drawn. clearly, it is a good thing that i chose a business major over anything medical-related.
and now, i have a surgery eeearly tomorrow moring (on my foot, will be in cast for three weeks & unable to run for another few months), and due to anaesthesia and other Super Fun chemical cocktails i get to enjoy, i have a feeling that posts may have to wait for this weekend. until then, much love to you all!

hi friends! i'm so happy right now; i just came home to michigan today after a fun two weeks of travels after internship... i am thrilled to be home. i'll update soon on what's been going on since the end of june and of course switzerland/germany/france/uk stories, but as i'm on my 24th hour of awakeness (craaazy jet lag has made me forget sleep entirely...up until right now) coherant thoughts had better wait 'til tomorrow. much love!

hi again from frankfurt! tomorrow nick (who arrived here safely this morning) & i are flying on luxurious ryanair to london to see the city, museums, the famous jack the ripper tour (as if it wasn't horrifying/disgusting enough the first time around), and ultimately the elusive filthy mcnasty's, i have been assured. more lata as well as switzerland updates. :)

hi friends! a quick update from the road... vacay has officially started after internship ended and i moved out of my apartment (i'm now staying with family-friends in frankfurt suburb); july 2-5 was spent in interlaken and zürich, switzerland (my favorite place in the entire planet) with molly and sarah. really, the best time of my life. updates online soon, of course. :) am in münich right now visiting my friend norman, and will head back to frankfurt again tomorrow. everything's going well, hope that everyone is enjoying the summer!
